Sunday Service 2020-04-19

19th April 2020:

Welcome to our Online Sunday Service at Llanelwy Community Church.

Feel free to use this service whenever you want. However, the idea is that, if you can, you go through this at 10:30 on Sunday. During this, (after an item) please add a comment on our facebook page to encourage a feeling of togetherness. Or send us a comment or greetings if you’ve done this at another time. At 11:45 on Sunday, we’ll have a zoom meeting at https://zoom.us/j/92667079499. If you click on this link now, you can download the zoom client (which is free) ready. Or you can dial in using the numbers below. If none of that works for you, please simply ring other people in the congregation or do a messenger-group-chats together (or however you do online chats!) encourage one-another and generally catch up with one another.

Please click on each item and read, or listen to the item, then when you are finished, come back to this page and click on the next item.

Music

This is a new song which picks up the words of Thomas, “My Lord and my God”. A challenge for us to be true to Jesus too. It also includes the famous painting The Incredulity of Thomas by Carvaggio.

Final Song

Verse 1

I will sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ who died for me
How He left the realms of glory
For the cross on Calvary
Yes I’ll sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ who died for me
Sing it with the saints in glory
Gathered by the crystal sea

Verse 2
I was lost but Jesus found me
Found the sheep that went astray
Raised me up and gently led me
Back into the narrow way
Yes I’ll sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ who died for me
Sing it with the saints in glory
Gathered by the crystal sea

Verse 3
He will keep me till the river
Rolls its waters at my feet
Then at last he’ll bring me over
Saved by grace and made complete
Yes I’ll sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ who died for me
Sing it with the saints in glory
Gathered by the crystal sea
